It is over fourteen years since I took up the study of Christian Science. While attending a church service I realized that I could find all that I had been looking for in this teaching. From then on I have tried to live and practice this truth, and I desire daily to learn more.

My husband, our two children, and I have had many demonstrations. There is one healing of my own which helped me much at the time to realize the allness of divine Mind and the nothingness of matter. I had a lump on my wrist caused by a knock from a cricket ball. As years went on this became larger and larger, and more painful, until it interfered with my work, especially with machinery. I could not overcome this myself, so asked for help in Science, which was lovingly given. A couple of days later I suddently noticed that I had not been feeling the usual pain and discomfort, and on looking at my wrist, I found the lump had entirely disappeared. My wrist has been perfectly normal ever since. I am indeed grateful to God for this healing; also for many others; and for the peace and comfort Christian Science brings into my daily life. I have lost all sense of worry and anxiety for my dear ones, for I know that, as Mrs. Eddy says (Poems, p. 4), "His arm encircles me, and mine, and all."

I am deeply grateful to all the practitioners and friends who have so lovingly helped me at different times. The Bible, and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, are my daily study; and I find the reading of the Christian Science periodicals very helpful. My great gratitude is for a better understanding of what divine Principle, God, really means, and how our every need is met. I know now that nothing is too small or too great for us to overcome if we trust the Giver of all good.
