Among the Churches

Current Notes

The Cincinnati Times-Star

Cincinnati, Ohio (Second Church).—The corner stone of Second Church of Christ, Scientist, of Cincinnati, at Clifton and Probasco Avenues, was laid recently. The ceremony was exceedingly simple. The new church building will be one of the most beautiful edifices in Cincinnati. The seating capacity will be one thousand. The Sunday school room will accommodate eight hundred pupils. The church was organized in 1919 in the Hanselmann Commandery Temple, where it has been meeting ever since. Steps were taken almost immediately to obtain a suitable site for a church, and the present one was secured and paid for before the organization was a year old.—The Cincinnati Times-Star.
