I was employed as a telephone operator, and through continuous overwork and perhaps because of several electrical shocks which I had received, heart disease developed and I suffered greatly at times. I worked mentally as we are taught in Christian Science, having been for years an adherent of this teaching and having had so many beautiful experiences both for others and for myself. The trouble appeared again and again, however. One day, having an opportunity to speak about the matter with a practitioner who had often helped me most lovingly, she asked me whether she should treat me, and I gladly consented. While she was declaring the truth, I was suddenly seized with such severe pains in the heart as I had never had before: it seemed as though the heart were rebelling against it. Gradually that feeling stopped and the heart became quiet. Since that time I do not know I have a heart,—I was healed!
I am grateful and happy for this new proof of God's allness. Again, as so often previously, Truth and Love have overcome error. For all the blessings which I have received through Christian Science, next to God I am deeply grateful to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who worked so selflessly for humanity to again reveal the Christ, Truth.—(Miss) Auguste Weinert, Berlin-Wilmersdorf, Germany.
