It is with a deep sense of gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me that I send this testimony of healing.

Two years ago, I was very suddenly taken ill with an attack of influenza. The first symptoms were so severe that it became necessary to call a Christian Science practitioner at once. Those symptoms were overcome in a few days; but a large abscess came on my left side and another on my left arm, which made it impossible for me to raise my hand to my head. Later, a third one started on my left knee; but this was soon destroyed. The healing was slow; but during those weeks of physical suffering I was able to be about the house and take a short ride nearly every day. There was also a sense of peace which I could not have experienced under these conditions without the help of Christian Science. There was never any doubt that He "who healeth all thy diseases" would deliver me from this illusion of material sense. Through the faithful, loving work of the practitioner this deliverance was realized.

I am very grateful for this and many other healings for myself and other members of my family; but I am more grateful for the understanding that has come to me through the study and demonstration of this beautiful interpretation of the Scriptures that has been given to us by our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
