[Written for the Sentinel]

God Fills All Space

God fills all space. Wherever I may be,
Inclosed by walls or on the boundless sea,
Beside the camp fire, 'neath the tree-arch dim,
His presence compasses: I live in Him.

God fills all space. Although no longer pressed
Are crowded highways with the old-time zest,
I need not falter; for I still can prove
His presence strengthens, guides: in Him I move.

God fills all space. Oh! may I, day by day,
With grateful heart remember, as I pray,
I have my being, not in One "above,"
But in that ever-presence—Life, Truth, Love!
