I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science
I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. For many years I was dissatisfied with my old religion. I felt the need of something better; and my only prayer was, "Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths." When I found Christian Science, I knew that my prayer was answered.
About two years after I became interested in Christian Science, I was left a widow, with three small children to support, the youngest being a year and a half old. If I had not had a glimpse of Christian Science I do not know what I would have done, as I always had been frail and delicate. Through Christian Science I gained health, strength, and courage, never doubting that I would be taken care of. All our problems have been met, both for my sons and for myself. It has been a great help to my sons in college. My youngest son, now twenty years old, has never tasted medicine, and has never missed a day in school on account of sickness. It would be impossible to tell of all the blessings we have received through Christian Science. I have been healed of extreme nervousness, rheumatism, acute indigestion, influenza, and many other ailments. I am grateful for all the physical healing; but I am more grateful for the peace of mind and joy that comes from knowing that God is the source of all good.
I am indeed grateful to be living in this age, when one was found ready to receive the message, to explain the teachings of Jesus, and show forth the "Comforter" which he promised would guide us into all truth.
