Christian Science was presented to me at a time when I was completely discouraged. I had been under the doctor's care for several years, but was fast becoming a nervous wreck; and attacks from a physical disorder were becoming more frequent and painful. Through reading and studying the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was completely healed. This healing took place over ten years ago; and there has never been a return of the trouble in any form.

During the past summer a great sorrow came into my experience,—a beloved brother, an ex-service man of the late war, was stricken with a so-called incurable disease. He was not interested in Christian Science, and my family were most antagonistic to it. I asked for help from a Christian Science practitioner that I might be a clearer transparency for light and love. Through the help received from Christian Science treatment I was sustained and strengthened, and enabled to cheer and to comfort the invalid; and to endure weeks of constant association with him without depression or fear of the disease. For eleven consecutive days and nights I was without sleep, but suffered no ill effects.

I am indeed grateful to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for this Christ, Truth, which Christian Science reveals.
