The following resolution was passed by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Baltimore, Maryland:—
"Be it resolved, That realizing the grave need of a more loyal and generous support of our daily newspaper the members of this church in meeting assembled hereby affirm their loyalty, and desire that the entire membership be acquainted with the above facts and the opportunity now before us to make a more complete demonstration of Monitor subscriptions in this field."
