With deep gratitude I should like to testify of the benefits which I have received through Christian Science. For about a year I had been suffering from a malignant disease of the tongue, when the attendant physician told me it had reached the stage where it seemed to be cancerous. In order to find out whether or not this was the case, a piece of the tongue would have to be removed. As I did not wish to undergo this, and because I was very much afraid and greatly worried on account of the progress of the disease, I followed the advice given me by a friend, and turned to a Christian Science practitioner for help in my need. Through her kindly encouragement, and diligent reading on my part in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, my condition was soon transformed from one of fear and dread to one of hope and rest; and I considered this a priceless blessing. The healing of the tongue progressed, even though slowly; and I am now completely cured.

Above all, however, I have reached, through Christian Science, the firm conviction that I must seek help where it is only and always to be found,—with God, good, who is ever ready to help.—(Mrs.) Helene Doell, Sackisch, Glatz i/Schlesien, Germany.
