I have been interested in Christian Science for four years; and within the past two and one half years I have had the privilege of becoming a member of The Mother Church and of our local branch church. The activity of church membership has been, and is, in many ways very helpful to me.

I have been healed of many sicknesses since taking up the study of the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; such as severe colds in the head and nervous headaches, dysentery (instantaneously), and influenza. The one healing which stands out in my thought most prominently is the complete healing of partial paralysis of the bowels. This trouble seemed to manifest itself from birth. As I grew older, the condition improved somewhat; but it never entirely disappeared until about a year ago, when it left me without any effort or specific work in Science. This has meant so much to me; for it shows that the truth, as taught in Christian Science, is the leaven that is leavening the whole lump.

For the loving help of practitioners, Mrs. Eddy's writings, and our periodicals, I am truly most grateful.
