From my earliest recollection I was considered delicate, and was much of the time under medical treatment for some ailment. After several years of semi—invalidism, the time came when other remedies were tried,—mineral baths, osteopathy, climate, and finally surgery. Along with an internal injury, due to a fall, were five years of insomnia, which no material remedy seemed able to relieve. Finally, Christian Science was brought to my notice. "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was given me to read. In about two weeks' time I was healed through the reading of this book. In about three months' time I was able to help others. I am grateful for having had class instruction, and for all of Mrs. Eddy's writings; and I am enjoying all of the Christian Science literature in my home.

During the intervening ten years there has been no return of the old troubles, and such phases of inharmony as have presented themselves have been quickly destroyed. In relating the physical healing I am telling but the least part of what this truth has accomplished for me; for above and beyond all else is the spiritual unfoldment which has come to me, and of which physical health is but the natural result. I have not spent a day in bed in ten years. My heart goes out in gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, through whose steadfastness and holy living the understanding of divine Truth has been given to this age.
