With a heart full of gratitude for my restoration to health and to my family, I wish to offer my experience, with a hope that it may help some other needy one to come to Christian Science for help.

I was raised by strict parents in a Protestant church, and taught to pray to God every day; but it all proved of no avail in my sickness. For months I doctored for what the doctor called a floating kidney, appendicitis, and tonsillitis; and grew worse every day. At last, preparation was made for an operation. I was so weak and fearful that none of my family thought I could ever live through it; but we were pressed not to delay another day, for the doctor said I had a chance to recover with it, and none without it. At the last hour my husband begged the family to consult a Christian Science practitioner first and see what hope he could offer. We did; and he assured us there was nothing impossible with God, if we would wholly rely upon Him. We engaged the practitioner's help, and returned home. I had been eating and sleeping very little for weeks. That night I ate a hearty supper with relish, and slept better than I had done for months. I arose in the morning with the rest of the family, for the pain was almost all gone. At the end of one week's treatment I was entirely healed.

I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude to God, to Mrs. Eddy for this truth about God, and to the practitioner who helped me to be healed so quickly. My prayer is to know more about the great Physician who heals all our diseases.
