It is twelve years since my first healing in Christian Science. The doctors had failed to help me, and I had nearly given up hope, when I was induced by a relative to try Christian Science, and I have every reason to be thankful I did. I was healed of kidney trouble, some displaced organs which the doctor said would not be any better until after an operation,—which I could not consent to. I laid off glasses which I had worn four years. Later I had appendicitis and was entirely healed after there seemed to be no help at all. One night I seemed to be worse; a practitioner was reading to me but I could not hear her, so she took the Christian Science Hymnal and began to sing from page 215; I heard just these words:—

"And o'er earth's troubled, angry sea
I see Christ walk,
And come to me, and tenderly,
Divinely talk."
