Sewaren, N. J.—A simple but impressive ceremony took place at Sewaren early this morning [April 27] when the corner stone was laid for the new Christian Science church now under construction at the corner of West Avenue and Marsh Street. The contract was let some time last fall, but the severe winter prevented work being started until about a week ago. It is of interest to note that the entire funds necessary for the construction of this building were raised before the ground was broken.—Perth Amboy News.
