I have been helped so much by the testimonies published...
I have been helped so much by the testimonies published in the Sentinel and Journal that I wish to express my gratitude through the same channels. I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, though I have experienced many benefits in that line and have been able to give up glasses after wearing them for ten years. There came a time in my life about four years ago when everything seemed to be going wrong. One morning when I was feeling especially depressed and unhappy, my sister, who was studying Christian Science, asked if I would go to see a practitioner. I was not able to do so until afternoon, so telephoned to the practitioner and she said she would work for me. Shortly afterwards I seemed to forget my trouble and was filled with a beautiful feeling of calm.
Since then, when there is discord, I have never failed to find harmony when I go to work in the right way and realize that "harmony in man is as real and immortal as in music" (Science and Health, p. 276). We have also had many demonstrations over financial difficulties. I find Christian Science extremely helpful in the care of my two babies and do not know what I would do without it. I am very grateful for these daily blessings and for the knowledge that God is indeed "our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
