So many wonderful things have come to me since I commenced the study of Christian Science that I feel I should express my gratitude for all the enlightenment I have received. I am so overjoyed in having found the truth through Christian Science,—though I began its investigation in a spirit of curiosity,—that I can hardly wait for my friends to know it too. The blessings that have come to me are too numerous to enumerate. It is a comfort to know that "God is a very present help in trouble," and that every problem that arises can be overcome with the knowledge of divine Principle.
My children are turning to divine help for guidance in their problems. Not only in their daily work but in school examinations they have had confidence in the power of divine Mind to help them. It is indeed a great joy to know that we have divine protection all the time and we need only have faith and understanding to keep us free. My young son had a severe fall on the ice while skating and hit his forehead very hard. I arrived a few minutes after and when I reached him there were tears in his eyes and evidently he was suffering considerably. I immediately began declaring the truth as we understood it in Christian Science, and shortly he continued skating. People who saw him fall thought he was stunned or had fractured his forehead and were very solicitous and advised me to bathe his head in hot water to prevent swelling and discoloration. However we trusted entirely to God's power, and much to every one's surprise no black and blue mark developed to show the bruise.
I am so grateful for all my blessings that I do not let a day go by without saying: "Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always." We have had some remarkable demonstrations of divine guidance in finding things that were lost. The thought has come to me that nothing is lost in God's kingdom, and the results have been astonishing. My greatest desire is to share with those about me the happiness I am experiencing. (Mrs.) E. Yerxa, Boston, Mass.
