Having been studying Christian Science about five years, it is with a heart full of love that I wish to make the following testimonies of healings. I took up the study of Christian Science after having seen a lady healed of consumption in its worst stages. After having read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy through once, I did not understand a word that I had read; it was just the same to me as if it were so much Greek. I asked the practitioner about this, and she told me to keep studying and it would become clear to me, which it gradually did. My first healings in Christian Science were slow, for which I am very grateful, because it forced me to study hard, which I would not have done had they been instantaneous.

Pneumonia with almost a closed throat was overcome with a few treatments. Constipation of years' standing was overcome in one treatment. At the birth of a baby boy, I might have died had it not been for the Science treatment which I had at the time. A physician was present who said that the child was dead, but the practitioner held to the truth and in a few moments he cried with the vigor of a child several days old. This child is now almost two years old and in splendid health. My older boy had a swelling in his head healed in two treatments from me. For these blessings and others too numerous to mention, I am most grateful, and my prayer is that I may become a better Christian Scientist. (Mrs.) Mary Bolden, Denver, Colo.
