For over nineteen years the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, have been our only healers. During that time fear in many forms has been overcome and a doctor has never been called. Our two boys did not know the taste of a drug until last winter, when the elder after an attack of influenza seemed to have such a severe cough that his father, who is not a student of Christian Science, said he must have a cough mixture. This was procured and taken, but without benefit. When it was stopped the healing was accomplished through Christian Science in a short time.

What Mrs. Eddy says on page 406 of Science and Health, "The Bible contains the recipe for all healing," has become clearer to me lately, showing that not only sickness but distrust, irritability, sin of all kinds, even the little so-called worries and troubles that try to bother us from day to day can all be destroyed by an application of the truth therein contained. Through a recent article in the Sentinel I saw that in a case of what seemed delayed healing we were not to be busy searching for a cure for something, but we must diligently seek to understand the perfect man. It is a great joy to be able to help others outside my own family, and I have proved over and over again that God is both Physician and Surgeon and a very present help in every time of need.
