When quite a child I fell and injured the end of my spine, which resulted in what the physicians claimed to be fistula. I had undergone one operation and was about to undergo another when Christian Science was brought to my notice and in my extremity I turned to it for help. My healing was slow, but while seeking the healing I was finding God.

In six years all those dear to me passed on and I was left very lonely. I prayed over this, because I could feel myself getting hard and knew that I was not serving God, for His idea could not be cold and indifferent. After much thought I realized that I could still love my fellow men. The words of Mrs. Eddy's poem entitled "The Mother's Evening Prayer" (Poems, p. 4) would continually come to me and help me. I am now daily enjoying the blessings that come not only to me but to all mankind. I am a better friend and a better citizen, and am realizing that as God's idea I cannot lose anything, for I am heir to His kingdom.

I have enjoyed the privilege of class instruction, and am very grateful for our literature and for the realization of the truth and love contained therein that is healing the world. I trust this testimony will help others who may be struggling with the same problem, and know that Principle realized will meet their every human need, for man is the reflection of God.—(Miss) Mabel Rawn, Dayton, Ohio.
