Five years ago I had what the doctors called a paralytic stroke. I was unconscious for several days, and was unable to leave my room for some months. When I asked one of the doctors if I would get better, his reply was noncommittal and another asked if my will was made; so I sold my interest in the shop where I had worked, and put my earthly affairs in order. A neighbor inquired of my wife why I did not try Christian Science, and as my case seemed hopeless I decided to do so. I went to see a practitioner, and she explained Christian Science to me, and very patiently answered my questions. I returned several times for treatment, and finally in answer to a question as to how I felt, I found that in thinking of the beautiful and to me new concept of God, I had forgotten all about my bodily ailments and was well.

I thank God for Christian Science, and am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving it to the world.
