Having received great help from testimonies which have appeared in the Sentinel, I feel it my duty to add mine, for Jesus said, "Freely ye have received, freely give." Christian Science was brought to my notice in 1912 by a friend who invited me to attend a lecture on Christian Science. As I had heard nothing for or against this religion I went with an unprejudiced mind, and when I heard that healing was being accomplished to-day as in Jesus' time through following in his footsteps, this seemed so beautiful and natural that I at once took up the study of Christian Science.
I had been reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy for about a week when an attack of bronchitis manifested itself. I had suffered every winter from this ailment and felt this was the time to test Christian Science. After declaring the truth as I understood it, I was completely healed in about half an hour and have never had a return of the trouble. For this healing and many others I am very grateful. Words do not begin to express my gratitude for this wonderful teaching.
