For many years I had wandered through the wilderness...
For many years I had wandered through the wilderness of despair, seeking light from an unknown God but unable to find it until the teachings of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy were unfolded to me. Then I learned of the true God and the blessings which follow the understanding of the truth. Words are inadequate to express the joy which comes to the heart ready and willing to receive it. Since taking up the study of Christian Science and knowing that God is ever present good, that He is our life, the center and circumference of our being, unfolding within us that peace which the world cannot give, my heart reaches out to all humanity to come and hear the clarion call, the trumpet sound of freedom echoing over our land.
For many years I suffered from varicose veins, but this trouble has been completely eliminated through the understanding of Truth; also an attack of cold, followed by influenza and acute lung trouble, has been quickly overcome by treatment from a practitioner. For these healings and the overcoming of minor discordant conditions I am indeed very grateful; also for the periodicals and all our Christian Science literature my gratitude knows no bounds.
(Mrs.) Belle Butler, Boston, U.S.A.
