A feeling of gratitude prompts me to give my testimony

A feeling of gratitude prompts me to give my testimony. I took up Christian Science through a desire to understand it and to realize the truth, and am so well pleased with the progress made that I could not be induced to part with Christian Science under any circumstances. The peace it brings is priceless.

I was an inveterate smoker for nearly forty years, but was healed of this habit more than two years ago; and I have not had the slightest desire to use tobacco in any form since. I owe this wonderful demonstration to the understanding of God gained in Christian Science. There are no words capable of expressing fully the gratitude due Mrs. Eddy for the discovery of a means to simplify the teaching of divine Truth. How thankful we should be for the wonderful privileges we enjoy through Christian Science, for our splendid literature, which is so indispensable to every Christian Scientist.—Oliver H. Smith, Solder, Kan.
