When I first came into Christian Science several years ago, I was heavily laden with many inharmonious conditions. The church of my parents had failed to satisfy me, and I was as a wanderer in a wilderness of doubt and fear. Now I can say, "Behold, all things are become new," and each day finds me striving more for the Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." At the birth of one of my children the doctor told my husband there was a growth in my side and advised an operation, but as we did not feel able financially to follow his advice the ordeal was put off. Several years later the trouble took an alarming turn, and I was urged to give Christian Science a trial. I was helped from the first treatment, as the healing was almost instantaneous; but beautiful as the physical healing was, the spiritual uplift was even greater. As a mother of a large family I have a chance to see the effects of this truth in many ways every day, and I have found it equal to every emergency. Just to be one in this great movement is enough to cause one to rejoice evermore.
