Several years ago the attention of my wife was drawn to Christian Science by dear relatives. She immediately began to study the literature, particularly the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. I followed her example out of curiosity, and first of all many questions were answered regarding life and being. I had been forced through illness to give up a very promising position as merchant in the tropics, and had been obliged to return home and begin all over again. Great was my joy, therefore, when Christian Science brought to me the understanding of Truth, God, as infinite good, an understanding whereby evil was unmasked as nothingness, and through which my life took on new meaning. In our family we have been enabled to prove in manifold ways the absolute correctness of this teaching. Formerly we were always fearful of our health and that of our children, and on the slightest occasion called in a physician; since Christian Science has come to us, declaring and knowing the truth has in all cases banished sickness and all other error.

My wife, who for years suffered from more or less intense attacks of heart trouble, has been healed, and various illnesses of our children have been rapidly overcome by holding firmly to the truth. Last summer I was healed of a large boil on my neck, which several people told me was malignant and dangerous, without ever experiencing the slightest pain. In business seemingly difficult problems have been satisfactorily solved, even beyond my expectation, through spiritual, right thinking and our understanding of Christian Science. Everywhere and at all times we are conscious of the ever presence of all-embracing, infinite Love. We can never sufficiently thank our heavenly Father for the blessings we have received and are continually receiving. We know that He will henceforth and forever be our guide. To Mrs. Eddy, who through her untiring work discovered anew this eternal truth and made it accessible to us, we owe our sincere thanks. In our happiness we desire nothing more earnestly than that our fellow men and women may partake of the blessings of this teaching, which we would not give up for anything in the world.
