Hopkinton, Iowa (Society).—The Rev. Andrew J. Graham, lecturer; introduced by Mrs. Jessie F. Mason, who said in part:—

Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, does not by any means claim that she has given to the world a new religion or anything new in the way of science. She says on page 313 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," the Christian Science textbook, "Jesus of Nazareth was the most scientific man that ever trod the globe," and she makes it plain in this book how God's law rightly understood destroys sickness, sin, and death as Jesus destroyed them. Her scientific research of the Scriptures enabled her to discover that Jesus was speaking to us as well as to his disciples when he said, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also," and "These signs shall follow them that believe."
