When I turned to Christian Science I was suffering from a complication of diseases, among which were heart and stomach trouble, enlarged glands of the throat, and extreme nervousness. One of the best physicians in this part of the state, after treating me for a year, advised my family to send me away from home for a change of climate and scenes, saying I could not live but a few months. I therefore went to stay with relatives in the northwestern part of the state, and while there became interested in Christian Science. I asked for help from a practitioner and the stomach trouble was overcome in the first treatment. I was soon able to come home and in a few weeks was entirely well. Christian Science has since has since been my only physician, and it has never failed me.

I have not words to express my appreciation for the Christian Science literature. I thank God that He gave to the world this revelation through Mrs. Eddy, and my greatest desire is to learn more each day and be a help to others.
