A few years ago the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, was given to me by my dear sister. At the time it all seemed very much like Greek to me, but I pressed on, knowing that it helped others and surely must help me—and so it has many, many times, both physically and spiritually. Though the spiritual understanding seemed slow to gain, yet I thank God for a glimpse of light that has come into my life through the study of Mrs. Eddy's writings, which she has lovingly given to the whole world.

I am indeed so truly thankful, that my feelings cannot be expressed in words. My desire is to practice to make perfect; as Jesus said, "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." On a trip I suffered very much from train sickness, which seemed to spoil the journey, and I had a little fear when it came time to go home, so I wrote to a practitioner asking for help. As a result I was perfectly well and enjoyed the trip back. My youngest son has been healed of ivy poisoning. He sprained his arm and the pain was severe, but it left in a very short time under Christian Science treatment. The child, however, held fear and kept the arm in a sling to protect it. When it was taken out it was crooked and remained so for over a year. Then I wrote to a practitioner, who treated him, and the arm is now perfectly straight.

The Christian Science Bible Lessons are a great help to me and I am very grateful for them and for all the authorized literature.
