Two years ago I had a stroke of paralysis. I was in bed about a week, and was up and around the house for five weeks. My condition after having the stroke was almost helpless; I could not stand up without holding on to some one or something for support, neither could I walk alone or speak plain enough so that members of my family could understand me. I had a good appetite, but could not feed myself. I slept about eighteen hours a day the first week. At the end of this time I got up and dressed, and I know that I was healed by Christian Science treatment.

Christian Science has helped and is now helping me and mine, and I am thankful for what it has done for me. I study the Lesson-Sermon daily, attend the church services, and look for a better understanding of the truth.
