My first awakening came when I finally attended a Christian Science Wednesday evening meeting. The next morning I secured a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy and began to study it, asking God to reveal to me the truth about this teaching. After a few days of study my answer came, and glasses, which had been worn for years, were laid aside. After this followed the overcoming of the tobacco habit and bowel disorder. These healings took place nearly three years ago, and since that time Christian Science has been my only guide. This wonderful truth about God and man, cause and effect, has never failed to solve all problems when properly applied. It has been my privilege to prove that the attacks of evil fail when the understanding of Immanuel, or "God with us," is applied. I am deeply grateful for my present understanding of the "battle of Armageddon," which enables me to stand firm and alert, watching the dawn of Truth in the world's consciousness.
