On page 3 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy says, "If we are ungrateful for Life, Truth, and Love, and yet return thanks to God for all blessings, we are insincere and incur the sharp censure our Master pronounces on hypocrites." These words have unfolded a larger thought of gratitude to me in the past few months, giving me a more unselfish appreciation of Life, Truth, and Love. Christian Science has healed me of many diseases, both mental and physical; namely, sensitiveness and timidity, acute lung trouble, tumorous growths, fever, and other ills. It is daily turning me from self-righteousness to God-righteousness, from a sense of pity to an understanding of compassion for my fellow man. For all the beautiful experiences I have had in Christian Science I am most grateful.
