Hoping this testimony will do as much good as the messages of others have done me, I will tell what Christian Science has done for me and mine. I was given up by physicians of different medical schools, as they could do no more for me. They told me I had a certain form of lung trouble. I did not know what it was to be free from pain day or night, and had a dry, hacking cough, which was growing worse all the time. Not feeling satisfied, I tried a Chinese doctor for two years longer, but received no lasting benefit. I was almost despondent when a lady came to me with the good news of Christian Science, telling me of her healing.

I knew nothing of Christian Science, as I had heard very little about it and what I did hear was always against it; but as a last resort I decided to try it. I never shall forget the first meeting I attended, because it seemed to me I had found that for which I was looking. I commenced the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy about six years ago. While my healing was slow, I felt from the first that I would get well, for I could see little by little that my condition was improving in many ways. I was unable to turn my head without turning my whole body at the same time on account of the soreness, but I kept on studying and applying the truth as best I knew how until the demonstration was made. I had very little help from others, as I was not acquainted with any practitioner. At the end of about a year I was entirely healed. Although my healing was slow, this made me seek the kingdom of God within and prove that all things are added accordingly. Not only have I proved God to be All-in-all times of sickness, but never has He failed me when I have turned to Him in financial troubles. Christian Science has met our every need.
