I did not become interested in Christian Science because of any need of physical healing, but the spiritual side of it appealed to me. We have, however, had many demonstrations of the healing power of God.

Late in the autumn of 1916, our little son was stricken with typhoid fever. We tried to meet and overcome the trouble through our own understanding of Christian Science, but as we did not seem to succeed, there being too much fear in my consciousness, we asked a practitioner for help. I am happy to state that the boy was healed in a few days. For this healing and the many benefits we have received since we began to study Christian Science, I am very grateful, and my desire is to show my gratitude by living a pure and upright life.—(Mrs.) S.
