I would like to try to express my gratitude for Christian Science,...
I would like to try to express my gratitude for Christian Science, although to do so in words is impossible. When I was a high school girl I was healed of scarlet fever in its worst form. My mother and I had been interested in Christian Science for a few months, but this was the first chance to test its efficacy. The healing was perfect, and I lost only three weeks of school.
When my baby was born Christian Science again saved my life, as well as the baby's. It was a hard trial, but through the loving, constant work of a practitioner and members of my family, we again proved God's care. My little girl was a fine, healthy baby, normal in every way. When she was five months old she had whooping cough; but that was wonderfully overcome in a short while, during which time she gained one pound. Since then, over four years, my husband, my daughter, and I have had many proofs of God's loving care, and we can never begin to tell how grateful we are for Christian Science.
