I want to tell the world how grateful and glad I am that I have found God,—have found that I can know Him, and understand Him, and adore Him, as Mind, Love, and can live in His presence now. I have learned something of what the psalmist meant when he said, "Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore," and of what Jesus meant when he said, "Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God." I am also learning that man, instead of being a fallen, degraded sinner, is the child of God, pure, perfect, spiritual. Christian Science is teaching me these things; and in the light of this understanding of God and man, physical troubles, great mental depression, sorrow, and sin are all vanishing as the mist before the sun, and I am beginning to realize something of the "glorious liberty of the children of God,"—beginning to find my birthright as a child of God and to have more love for all mankind.

An experience a few months ago proved to me the omnipotence of Mind. I came home from my work one evening and found I was alone, the other people living at the house being out for the evening. I picked up the Monitor and read the article on the Home Forum page. After reading it, my thought was very clear and uplifted. I then started down the back stairs on an errand. This stairway was rather winding and hard to descend, and I had no light. When part way down, in some way I lost my footing and started to fall. There was no banister to support me, there being just the wall on either side. Instantly the thought expressed in the article came to me, "Held in Thy law I stand," and the fact of the omnipresence and omnipotence of Mind was very clear to me. In another instant my footing was sure again and I was walking down the stairs, with no injuries except a slight turning of one ankle and a slight bruise on one elbow which had struck the wall. To mortal sense I had completely lost my footing and balance; yet I had not fallen. I felt that the power of God was sustaining me, and know that nothing else could have kept me from falling.

This is only one of the many proofs I have had of the protecting power the understanding of Christian Science gives. I am grateful to Mrs. Eddy for having given this truth to the world, and for her life of devotion. I am also grateful for all other faithful workers in the field, for our literature, and for class instruction. It is my sincere desire to reflect God's healing love to all mankind.
