Extracts from Letters

[Received from Switzerland]

"Permit us to express our deepest gratitude for the proofs of divine Love which have been given us in the way of financial support. In these hard times one feels such assistance doubly, and even more when one has such difficult financial problems to meet. While we do not wish to underrate the material worth of the gift, we appreciate mostly the fact that our faith has been strengthened thereby, in that it has proven to us anew divine Love and has brought us the fulfillment of the promise that God cares for His children."

"I desire to express herewith my heartfelt gratitude for the amount of three hundred francs which I received through my son on the twenty-fourth of this month from the War Relief fund of the dear Christian Scientists in Boston. I thank God for the help which He has given me, through your kind means, from these noble fellow men in America. It is a blessed thing to know that in all need and in these doubly hard times, our heavenly Father always will be the same good provider and helper."

"We send you herewith our thanks for your loving gift which we have received for the second time from the Christian Science committee. We give sincere thanks to God for this loving gift, as well as for all the blessings received through Christian Science. Our only desire is to learn more of this Love."
