Madison , Wis. (First Church).—Dr. Walton Hubbard, lecturer; introduced by Arthur W. Hickman, who said in part:—

Christian Science, the new-old gospel of Truth, which Jesus taught and demonstrated over nineteen hundred years ago, is just as effective to-day and just as applicable to all our needs, physical, mental, or financial, as it was in the days when the Master healed the palsied man, cast out devils (evils), or told Peter to extract the coin from the fish's mouth. Jesus' ability to accomplish these works was not a result of any special gift from God, but was the result of his knowledge of the law of God. Our ability in this day and age to accomplish these wonders, as they are sometimes called, rests upon our understanding of the law of God, which not only heals sin, sickness, and all inharmony, but is a law of protection to all who know its power.
