It is with the deepest gratitude that I write this testimony, for I feel that I am only returining to give thanks to God for the many blessings which have come to me in the past two years and a half through the understanding of Christian Science. During these years God has been our only physician, and when such ailments as scarlet fever, whooping cough, and measles presented themselves in my only child, a boy of six years, the study of this saving truth enabled me to realize that God is ever present, healing every sickness and every disease; that His promises never fail and are fulfilled daily.
Christian Science has taught me that God never changes, is always good; and the same God that restored Abraham's son to him has restored my son in perfect health to me. At times when the trial seemed great and the way dark, the Comforter again would come through the work of a loving practitioner. Words cannot express my gratitude for Christian Science, but if my testimony convinces one doubting mother's heart, then God's Word has not returned unto Him void. My endeavor is to let my life speak my gratitude, and my great aim and ambition is to live a life worthy of the name Christian Scientist.
Mrs. Agnes Godwin Smith, Brooklyn, N. Y.
