It is with a heart full of love and gratitude to God and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I send this testimony. About four years ago, when my youngest child was two and a half months old, I was taken with a bad attack of influenza which settled in my breast and caused two severe abscesses. It seemed as though I could not stand the suffering, so I called in a practitioner to give me Christian Science treatment. One abscess disappeared in four days; the other had gained a firm hold and broke in six places, but in four weeks the healing was complete. During this experience I was able to do my housework and care for my children with ease. I am truly grateful for this healing and for many other blessings which have come to us through Christian Science.
