About three years ago my little girl fell while skating and very badly bent a bone in her wrist, which swelled to twice its normal size, and she was in great pain. Against neighbors' advice that we should at once call a physician, I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, with the result that in less than half an hour the pain and swelling were gone; only the bent bone could be seen. A short time later, one who was not a Christian Scientist called the attention of a physician to the wrist, and his comment was that the child would always carry a protruding bone. A complete healing was brought about by absent treatment, however, and the bone is in place.—(Mrs.) Mary E. Crew, Berkeley, Cal.
