It is with a deep sense of gratitude to God that I give my testimony of the many proofs I have had to the power of Truth to heal. About five years ago I came into Christian Science for physical healing and in five weeks' treatment was healed of tubercular disease of the lungs. I had for three years been seeking health in change of climate, and stayed nine months at a sanatorium in Colorado, where I had the best of medical care but received only temporary benefit. During a visit home, when I was greatly discouraged and the fight for health seemed a hopeless one, I was asked by a friend to try Christian Science. With the healing which followed, a great change was wrought in me; it was the beginning of a new life.

Many discordant conditions have been overcome. The tobacco habit of years' standing yielded in one treatment. All desire for liquor left the first time I attended church, during a Wednesday evening meeting. I have also been healed of a severe attack of influenza and of chronic hay fever. God has been the only physician in our home the past three years. My wife and child have had several healings.

That I am grateful for these physical benefits it is needless to say, but I am most grateful for the understanding of God I am gaining daily. I know that in so far as I apply Christian Science to my daily life I will to that degree receive of the promises of Christ Jesus the Way-shower. I am indeed very thankful to Mrs. Eddy, who gave to the world "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which is healing and blessing all mankind.
