Venice, Cal. (First Church).—John Sidney Braithwaite, lecturer; introduced by Julius C. Barthel, who said in part:—

Through the Bible we learn that Jesus came nearly two thousand years ago to teach the religion of Life and Love, and he said among other things, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." God's love was with him then, just as it is with us now, for do we not read in the first epistle of John, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God," which gives us the assurance that divine Principle, Life, Truth, and Love, is ever with us? The world is eager to know the truth, and Christian Science brings its message based upon the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth.
