I feel it my duty as well as a privilege to tell of some of the blessings I have received through Christian Science. I was healed first of a great nervous strain and breakdown, so severe in its nature that I could not bear to be with people. Influenza and heart trouble have also been overcome, as well as discontent and loneliness. My husband was healed of the smoking habit. I am very grateful for two healings which took place in the past year, both of the same nature. Last June I awoke one morning feeling very ill. Being alone and unable to telephone for help I tried to overcome the trouble myself, but it grew so severe that I could not read or think. When my husband, who is not a Christian Scientist, came home, he said he was going for a doctor, but I told him not to do so. Then Christian Science treatment was asked for and in about three days I was entirely well. The same trouble seemed to present itself again in November, but was overcome by the power of Truth.

I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science. I am so glad to learn that God is not the sender of mortal discords; that He is Love, and that no matter what we may do or may not do, divine Love never changes. Our part is simply to keep close to God.
