In July, 1916, Christian Science was brought to our notice in such a way as to lead us to investigate it, and since becoming interested in it I have given up the use of liquor and tobacco. I have also been almost instantly healed of a severe attack of chills, accompanied by terrible pain in my side. I lay awake all night in great fear and not daring to move for pain, but next morning with the aid of a practitioner I was healed. I was able to be up and about the same day, a new man. Besides this, I have been freed from a bad cough, which for about ten years was a great trouble to me; indeed, it was so severe at times that my nerves were all shattered.

For these and many other blessings I am truly grateful. My one wish is that I may become more and more conscious of man's relation to God through the understanding of the truth given to us by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, to whom I and my family are deeply grateful for this beautiful teaching.—Karl Rindsland, Milwaukee, Wis.
