Christian Science has brought me peace that passes all understanding and has lifted me from the slough of human misery and despondency to an understanding of life that is making all things new. It has transformed my character, sweetened my disposition, elevated my morals, wiped out burdensome habits, and carried me through an ordeal that might have cost me life or liberty. It has healed me of jealousy, given me a better understanding of my fellow man, broadened my conception of all things, and enabled me to perform my work with ease. Besides all this, an ailment pronounced incurable by the medical doctors has been overcome through Christian Science, although the healing was slow, extending through ten or twelve years. On several occasions the end seemed near, and my striving for the freedom we are promised, at times seemed hopeless. The light however came, and my health is better now than it was for many years.

My heart is filled with gratitude for all these heaven-bestowed blessings. I feel that the work is only begun, but my constant prayer is for more light and a better understanding of the truth that makes free. Every moment of my life is a song of praise and gratitude to our heavenly Father, to Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer of Christian Science.
