In recognition of the many blessings received from Christian Science, I submit the following testimony. During the greater part of my young manhood days I was subjected to many disagreeable afflictions, which came from the belief of an affected brain, supposed to be the result of an accident which occurred when I was a boy. The climax was reached about eight years ago, when I began to lose hold upon human existence. I was a patient in four or five hospitals in New York City, and had three examinations by the X-rays, which showed what was described by medical doctors as inflammation bordering the cells of the brain.

While in this condition, realizing that I was fast losing ground, I decided to leave myself in God's care. Shortly afterward a neighbor asked me to try Christian Science, and the next day I had treatment. After being treated daily for several weeks, it dawned upon me that I was healed. Since that time, five years ago, I have been able to attend to my business without one day's absence on account of illness.

Christian Science has proved to be the greatest friend and comforter I can have, and my earnest prayer is that I may so reflect its teachings in my thoughts that my doings will evidence the efficacy of this great truth in the regeneration of mankind.—Charles Welford, Brooklyn, N. Y.
