When I first attended a Christian Science meeting about twenty-five years ago, I was very much in need of healing—physically, morally, and spiritually. I called on a practitioner the next day, and treatment was given me. Although I was helped temporarily, there was still much room for improvement; but I realized that I must do my own work and learn to think and live differently. One day the thought presented itself to me that if God is Mind and man is the reflection of that Mind, then I could not be sickly or sinful, because God or Mind is never sick or sinful. This has helped me to know that I must think good instead of bad thoughts, and healthy instead of sickly thoughts, and as a result there has been a marked degree of improvement, so that today I am perfectly well.

For the past two years I have been practically without pain. Recently I was healed through Christian Science treatment of a severe attack of erysipelas, and since this healing I have felt better and stronger than ever before. To say I am grateful for this is the least I can do. I realize that I must ever live it in my daily life.
