I would like to give thanks for the blessings which have come to me through Christian Science. For many years I suffered with anemia and pain in the stomach, and often had to stay in bed for weeks at a time. About five years ago hemorrhages set in, and this trouble brought me to the brink of the grave. I already knew of Christian Science through the letters of a friend, but could not understand it, although much of what she said on the subject appealed to me. Having lost faith in medicine, in view of frequent relapses and because the hemorrhages recurred, I applied to a practitioner, who called and lovingly explained the truth to me. Although my healing progressed slowly, I became well, and am now able to manage my household.

We have had many proofs of God's ever-presence and love, and constant thought is: "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving-kindness and tender mercies." I can now better understand the Bible, especially what it means to have a childlike faith and trust, and I am happy and contented filled with gratitude for having found Christian Science.
