Many years ago I was healed of nervous prostration through Christian Science, and since then have had many wonderful healings; but the following proof of God's protecting care has been the most wonderful to me. For years I was in bondage to the thought held over me that I was alone in the world, with no income and dependent on relatives who were not interested in Christian Science. I rebelled, resented, and resisted imposition and injustice, until at last "error, urged to its final limits" (Science and Health, p. 476), was destroyed. With the understanding of the truth which I knew I possessed as a Christian Scientist, I trusted absolutely in God, kept my own counsel, and with His law to guide me walked firmly on. A place was found that met my every need, and since then there has been a constant unfolding of Love's bounty. I am proving that abundance is mine, for God is its source.

The spiritual understanding which is being gained every day is more than all else to me, and my gratitude to God, also my thankfulness to Mrs. Eddy, who taught us the way, cannot be expressed in words. Only by obeying God's commands can I pay my debt to Principle and show my appreciation for the blessing which I have in Christian Science.
