The Morning Chronicle

Boston, the Mecca of so many Nova Scotians for two generations past, was in the field as soon as if it had been a city in its nearest sister state, and from the time when the first relief train was started down to the present hour has added gift to gift. The last train to arrive [up to 4 a.m. Monday] was sent by The First Church of Christ, Scientist, of Boston, bringing supplies of every sort. A committee of five, appointed by the church, was in charge of the train, and has established headquarters in the Masonic Hall. Mr. R. E. Parker is in charge, and the committee is already at work cooperating with the other relief committees.
